 Our guest speaker this week was Darwin Griffin, V.P. at the A. Phillip Randolph Institute (APRI). Darwin began his presentation with an experiential exercise demonstrating neurolinguistic programming. The exercise was a fun learning experience. Darwin continued with a fascinating history of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters who were predominatly African American men working for the Pullman Company. The Union gave rise to the APRI which today advocates for voter rights throughout the country. Mr. Griffin was a dynamic and thoughtfully entertaining presenter with a very important message. |

 January 18, 2024 Club meeting will be a Brome’s Modern Eatery at 22062 Michigan Ave. between Monroe and Mason Streets. Parking and entrance are in the rear of Brome’s. Use the public parking lot on Garrison Street.A buffet lunch will be served at 11:30 AM. Member cost for lunch is :$15. Programs for the meeting inude a re-dedication of the Little Rotary Library with special guest Janet Gleichauf and a presentation from Steve Ahles, Southgate Rotary . |
