The Dearborn Rotary Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization started in 1966, and is designed to be the philanthropic arm of the Rotary Club of Dearborn. It was developed as a distinct and separate entity with perpetual existence. It is managed by a 7 member Board of Trustees who’s responsibilities include sound investment strategies and ethical stewardship of the funds held by the Foundation.

Our Mission and Purpose is to receive, administer, and distribute funds for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes, all for the public welfare which come to our attention and we deem worthy within the world community we serve.  Our core objectives are for Continuity, Consistency, Growth, and Sustainability.

It is our intent to distribute funds based on need, and for particular and specific purposes, as opposed to supporting regular operating expenses.
